Software Developer (Stage 4) - Customer Initiative & Proof of Concept

Ericsson AB Join our Team About this Opportunity We are looking for a curious and motivated Software Developer (Stage 4, newly graduate) to join a small, energetic team of young graduates. The team focuses on customer-facing initiatives: building proof-of-concepts (POCs), producing visualizations that demonstrate what our product can do, and delivering other special assignments that help win and shape customer engagements. This is a great opportunity to learn, get hands-on experience, and take part in delivering tangible demos used with real customers. You will be contributing to evolve of one of the world's largest fintech solutions, serving more than half a billion users, and help shape the future of financial services. What you will do • Build and deliver features and small components in Java (full‑stack) writing clean, maintainable code. • Write unit tests and basic end‑to‑end tests; participate in testing and quality activities. • Push changes to production under supervision, following review and delivery processes. • Use version control tools and perform code reviews; actively participate in peer reviews to learn and improve. • Collaborate with teammates, product owners, and customer‑facing colleagues to turn requirements into working demos and POCs. • Follow secure coding practices and take on special assignments that accelerate customer understanding and product adoption. The skills you bring • You are at an early stage in your developer career and eager to learn and grow • You have practical experience with Java backend and/or JavaScript. • You are comfortable using version control tools such as GitHub and have experience with code review. • You write and run unit tests and consider testing part of development. • You care about code quality and are ready to learn how to address issues raised by static code analysis (e.g., Sonar). • You work well in a small, collaborative team; you are curious, proactive and receptive to feedback. Qualifications: • MSc or BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. • Proficiency in Java, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile and AI methodologies. • Strong collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and teamwork.
