Fullstack Java developer at Swedbank within Corporate Payments

Are you a Fullstack Java Developer eager to shape the future of Corporate Payment solutions? We’re looking for a skilled Developer to join our team within the Payment domain. In this role, you'll take an active part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable solutions that support the payment needs of our corporate clients.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications and software components, including both backend and frontend functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of software features.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies within the SAFe framework.

What is needed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Payment domain is beneficial.
• At least 3y experience in Java development and front end Angular.
• Understanding of microservice architecture, experience in API development and building microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools preferably OpenShift.
• Experience integrating APIs and microservices with external systems and services.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience working in collaborative development environments, following best practices such as version control, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems efficiently.
