Senior Cyber Security & Risk Advisor

We are looking for a "Senior Cyber Security & Risk Advisor" who will take a leading role in securing both internal and third-party solutions within a complex enterprise environment for a global retail company in Stockholm.

Start is in January 2026, 6 month's limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.

This is an opportunity to work close to the business, influence security strategy at senior level, and be involved in new technologies such as AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning before they are rolled out at scale.

Your Mission

In this role, you will be responsible for driving security assessments, risk management and strategic advisory at enterprise level. Your key responsibilities include:

• Lead and oversee comprehensive security assessments of both in-house and third-party solutions to ensure full compliance with security requirements and standards.
• Drive advanced security maturity and risk assessment frameworks for internal and external partners, delivering strategic insights and recommendations aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with senior business leaders to align cyber security strategy with business goals and long-term transformation initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing expert guidance on emerging threats, regulatory requirements and cyber security best practices.
• Support security evaluations of emerging technologies, including AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning from a risk and compliance perspective.

Your Background

We believe you bring:

• 5+ years of experience working with Cyber Security in an Enterprise environment
• Strong understanding of cyber security concepts with the ability to translate technical risks into business impact
• Proven hands-on experience with cyber security and privacy frameworks and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS and GDPR
• A strong business mindset and the ability to act as a strategic partner to the organization
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging stakeholders at all levels
• Familiarity with AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning
• Experience from the retail industry is a strong plus
• A curious, proactive and learning-oriented mindset — you actively stay updated on new technologies and threats
• Required Cloud Certification: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
