Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Contribute as a senior Automation Engineer in the development and delivery of advanced industrial automation products and systems
• Support two new, strategic projects for both new customers and next-generation product platforms
• Design, develop, program, and test industrial control systems with a strong focus on PLC-based automation
• Work extensively with Siemens PLC platforms, including programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate in cross-functional project teams within product development and engineering environments
• Participate in development activities spanning concept, design, implementation, testing, and delivery
• Support automation solutions used in industrial environments related to heat transfer, separation, and flow management
• Apply best practices in automation engineering to ensure quality, reliability, and performance
• Contribute to documentation, version handling, and structured development processes
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet technical, operational, and customer requirements

What you bring:

• Senior-level experience as an Automation Engineer within industrial automation
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming, particularly Siemens platforms
• Experience with Rockwell / Allen Bradley systems is highly valued
• Solid background working with industrial control systems
• Experience from R&D organizations is an advantage
• Knowledge of revision and configuration management processes is a merit
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles in industrial automation environments is a plus
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments is beneficial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in project-driven environments
• Clear communication skills and a professional consulting mindset
