Software Engineer - Test & Verification

We are looking for a hands-on engineer to design, develop and deploy our test instrumentation systems and calibration. You will work closely with multi-functional teams (Mechanical, Electronics, Software, Manufacturing, Production, etc) to ensure that current and future Neko products meet our high standard design quality.

Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for the design specification, implementation, bring up, validation and deployment of Neko's instrumentation software to test and calibrate Neko products through mass production.

- Work closely with mechanical, electronics, optics and firmware teams to influence designs and define/recommend testing strategies for functionality and performance

- Be the "go to" technical expert for Neko's instrumentation testing, a "liaison" between design, manufacturing and production.

- Perform failure mode root cause analysis and resolution, debugging from the system level down to the component level

- Analyse large amounts of data generated from instrument systems and embrace data-driven approaches to solving engineering challenges

- Train manufacturing and production teams to use and integrate the test instrumentation tools into their workflow.

Requirements:

Must have:

- 5+ years of relevant experience in designing, developing and validating test instrumentation software for hardware testing and calibration

- Skilled in one or more of the following programming languages: C/C++, C#, along with knowledge in Python

- Strong knowledge in embedded system (USB, UART, I2C, SPI, etc)

- Proven understanding of test principles,

Nice to have:

- Experience in camera performance characterization, non-imaging optics and sensing technologies

- Experience with image processing algorithms development

- Experience with data processing tools - plotting, processing and mining data
