What You Will Work On

• Developing and maintaining Cobol-based applications supporting payment flows
• Integrating a new payment engine with existing legacy and mainframe systems
• Supporting modernization initiatives while ensuring stability of core payment processes
• Collaborating with architects, integration teams, and business stakeholders
• Contributing to improvements in payment processing efficiency and reliability
• Managing technical debt while enabling gradual system modernization

What You Bring

• Several years of hands-on experience in Cobol development
• Experience from banking or financial services environments (meriting)
• Strong knowledge of integrating legacy systems with modern IT platforms
• Experience working with mainframe-based payment solutions
• Structured and quality-focused approach to development
• Ability to work in complex system landscapes with high reliability requirements
