IT/OT Security Project Manager

You will lead a key security initiative within a manufacturing organization undergoing a major digital transformation of its production environments, driven by IoT, real-time analytics, automation and connected manufacturing systems. The focus is to establish a secure, standardized and scalable network architecture by improving separation between IT and OT and increasing segmentation within OT networks—reducing cyber risk and supporting regulatory and customer expectations.

The initiative spans IT/OT network separation, deployment of OT firewalls and an Industrial DMZ (IDMZ), default-deny traffic principles, and the establishment of a governance model that clarifies responsibilities between IT and OT across production units.

• Drive the project through all phases (initiating, planning, execution and closing) in line with the project model
• Own and maintain the project plan, milestones, forecasts and progress reporting
• Secure required competencies and resources in collaboration with line/resource owners
• Delegate and clarify tasks; align, support and enable the project team to deliver
• Provide structured updates to sponsor and steering committee, including status, risks, deviations and decision needs
• Ensure stakeholder alignment and anchor decisions across functions
• Identify, assess, mitigate and escalate risks, issues and deviations
• Manage scope changes and support controlled decision-making
• Produce and maintain governance documentation (e.g., project plan, risk plan, milestone plan, sustainability analysis)
• Prepare the receiving organization for adoption, ensure handover to operations and complete closure with lessons learned

• Broad understanding of both IT and OT environments
• Experience leading delivery across scope, time, cost and quality
• Experience from manufacturing/industrial environments
• Strong communication skills (written, visual and verbal)
• Self-driven, proactive and highly structured with a delivery-oriented mindset
