Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Lead engineering activities for high-voltage infrastructure and substation projects.
• Prepare engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Develop project schedules, cost estimates, and operational plans.
• Coordinate production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project performance against plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Resolve technical challenges and minimize project delays.
• Define engineering standards, work methods, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and external contractors.
• Support resource planning including materials, equipment, and engineering staff.
• Provide guidance and review work of junior engineers when needed.

What You Bring

• Extensive experience in electrical engineering within power transmission or energy infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience working with 400 kV substations related to Svenska kraftnät.
• Ability to manage engineering projects independently with limited supervision.
• Strong experience in project planning, engineering documentation, and technical coordination.
• Capability to solve complex engineering and operational challenges.
• Fluent Swedish language skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work onsite regularly and travel to project locations.
