Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Senior Safety & Regulatory Consultant

What You Will Work On

• Lead formulation and ingredient strategy with a safety-by-design approach.
• Evaluate and approve ingredients based on hazards, allergens, impurities, and regulatory restrictions.
• Maintain allow-lists and restricted substance lists.
• Assess airborne transfer and inhalation exposure and translate findings into product design constraints and usage limits.
• Ensure compliance with IFRA standards and EU/US regulatory frameworks (SDS, CLP, REACH).
• Support marketing with compliant claims and establish regulatory guardrails.
• Prepare supplier-ready documentation including specifications, traceability, and change control requirements.
• Define and review testing and validation plans covering stability, impurities, consistency, and emissions.
• Participate in supplier evaluations and technical meetings.

What You Bring

• Senior-level experience in aroma/fragrance formulation and ingredient safety assessment.
• Strong familiarity with IFRA standards and regulatory documentation requirements (US regulatory experience strongly preferred).
• Experience assessing airborne delivery systems and inhalation exposure risks.
• Deep understanding of EU regulatory frameworks (SDS, CLP, REACH).
• Ability to translate chemistry and toxicology data into clear technical and non-technical requirements.
• Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, suppliers, regulatory, and marketing teams.
