Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an Application Software Engineer for an assignment that requires on-site presence throughout the assignment. The work includes development and integration of application-related software for embedded systems connected to powertrain and electric drive systems. The focus is on real-time solutions, control functions and work with functional safety. The assignment includes both the development of new functionality and testing and verification in SiL, HiL and vehicle environments, in close collaboration with hardware and systems teams.

Qualifications

Knowledge of functional safety in line with ISO 26262

Experience working with communication interfaces such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet

Accustomed to working according to agile methods and following structured development processes

Practical experience of model-based working methods in development

Background in the development of embedded software in automotive-related contexts

Experience of programming in C and C++, where knowledge of Python and MATLAB/Simulink is seen as an advantage
