Assignment Description

We are looking for an Automotive Software Test Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Handle and manage incoming fault reports from multiple sources
• Analyze, reproduce, and categorize faults based on criticality
• Identify root causes and assign issues to appropriate teams or suppliers
• Escalate unresolved issues and support resolution workflows
• Create new fault reports when issues are identified during testing
• Perform vehicle and rig-based testing in both stationary and dynamic conditions
• Book and manage access to test vehicles and rigs
• Load and read software using relevant tools
• Execute test cases and evaluate system behavior
• Document test results and update test verdicts in CarWeaver
• Develop and maintain test plans and documentation aligned with ISO 26262
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance

What You Bring

• Experience in automotive software testing or embedded systems
• Hands-on experience with vehicle or rig-based testing
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (ETH, CAN, LIN)
• Experience with Vector tools and similar testing environments
• Understanding of fault analysis and root cause investigation
• Ability to document and manage test cases and results
• Driving license (Category B) – required
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
