Assignment Description

We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Develop and implement automation software based on technical specifications
• Perform commissioning, start-ups, and troubleshooting activities
• Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and continuous software testing
• Follow coding standards and contribute to technical documentation
• Maintain and develop system documentation (SDS, FRS, FDS)
• Design and implement new software functions
• Participate in design reviews and ensure solution quality
• Lead software design activities, including sprint planning and coordination
• Manage validation and release processes

What You Bring

• University degree in Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation, or similar
• Strong experience in PLC programming (STL, LAD, FBD, SCL)
• Experience with control systems such as Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, B&R, or MathWorks tools (Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder)
• Knowledge of software development standards and models (e.g., S88)
• Experience with modern software design tools
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Self-driven, proactive, and structured working approach
• Strong engagement and collaborative mindset
