Principal SAP Architect for AI Enablement

You will help shape how AI can be enabled across complex SAP landscapes. In this role, you will guide the definition and validation of a framework that uses Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to support AI-driven business scenarios as well as SAP development and implementation.

The work is exploratory and hands-on. You will combine architectural thinking with practical validation, helping assess open-source MCP technology as an alternative approach to Joule. The focus is on identifying viable patterns, testing ideas through proof of concept work, and creating a strong foundation for future industrialization. This is an interesting opportunity if you want to influence an early-stage AI direction in a technically advanced SAP environment.

• You will define and validate an AI enablement framework for SAP landscapes.
• You will explore how MCP servers and open-source MCP technology can support AI business scenarios.
• You will assess how AI capabilities can be applied to SAP development and implementation work.
• You will drive guidance and advisory activities around SAP architecture and AI enablement.
• You will lead proof of concept activities to test approaches, patterns, and technical feasibility.
• You will help prepare validated concepts and recommendations for future industrialization.

• Strong expertise in SAP architectures.
• Strong expertise in AI enablement.
• Experience defining and validating architectural frameworks or technical approaches.
• Ability to explore and evaluate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and open-source MCP technology.
• Experience with guidance, exploration, and proof of concept work.
• Understanding of SAP development and implementation scenarios.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to complete required background checks.
