Role Summary

As a Product Owner within Finance, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of digital products supporting financial processes and services. You will own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment between business needs, technical possibilities, and strategic goals. Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and business units, you will drive continuous improvements through agile ways of working. The role requires a strong understanding of financial processes combined with a customer-centric mindset. You will play a key role in shaping the product vision and roadmap to support Scania’s transformation journey.

Job Responsibilities

• Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for finance-related systems, ensuring alignment with business value and strategic objectives,

• Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and requirements,

• Lead and support the development team in delivering high-quality solutions through agile practices,

• Ensure clear communication and transparency of priorities, progress, and product direction to stakeholders,

• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, balancing business needs, technical requirements, and system stability.

Who You Are

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

Solid understanding of financial processes (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, reporting) combined with technical awareness .

Experienced in agile methodologies and comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams.

A collaborative communicator who can engage stakeholders at different levels and build trust .

Results-oriented, proactive, and able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
