Assignment Description

We are looking for a Platform Architect with strong expertise in Azure and Databricks platform architecture to support the design, implementation, and evolution of modern enterprise data platforms.

What You Will Work On

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Azure Databricks platform solutions
• Define and maintain scalable platform architecture and governance models
• Develop and optimize Databricks workspace structures and cluster governance
• Configure and manage operational workflows using Databricks Jobs and Workflows
• Implement governance, lineage, permissions, and auditability using Unity Catalog
• Design secure Azure networking solutions for cloud data platforms
• Work with identity and access management using Entra ID, RBAC/ABAC, managed identities, and service principals
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines for platform deployment and automation
• Collaborate with stakeholders on platform strategy, security, and operational improvements
• Ensure platform solutions align with Microsoft Well-Architected principles and enterprise security standards

What You Bring

• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks platform engineering and Azure architecture
• Experience working with both strategic platform design and hands-on implementation
• Deep knowledge of enterprise Databricks architecture, including workspace design and cluster governance
• Experience with Databricks Jobs and operational workflows
• Strong understanding of Unity Catalog, including governance models, permissions, lineage, and auditability
• Solid expertise in Azure security and identity management
• Experience with Entra ID, RBAC/ABAC, managed identities, service principals, and Key Vault integration
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking and secure connectivity patterns
• Experience with VNet injection, Private Link, and private endpoints
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and/or Bicep
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Understanding of Microsoft Well-Architected principles and enterprise platform best practices
