Junior Software Engineer

Are you at the beginning of your software engineering career and ready to build real experience in an enterprise environment? In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of PLM systems within a large-scale IT organization at a global industrial company. You will work close to business-critical applications, contribute to Java-based backend development, and collaborate with experienced colleagues across functions.

• You will support development and maintenance of PLM systems used in a large enterprise environment.
• You will contribute to Java-based applications, with a focus on backend development tasks.
• You will work with cross-functional teams to understand needs and help deliver effective technical solutions.
• You will take part in troubleshooting, testing, and continuous improvement of existing applications.
• You will follow coding standards and help document technical solutions in a clear and structured way.

• 0–2 years of experience in software development, or relevant academic experience.
• Basic knowledge of Java.
• A strong willingness to learn and grow within software engineering.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish.
• You are comfortable working independently as well as together with others.

• Familiarity with PLM systems.
• Experience with Windchill.
• Exposure to enterprise IT environments.
• Internship or trainee experience within software development.
