Windchill Test Lead

You will take the lead in shaping the full testing approach for a new Smart Product Platform and help secure the quality of a business-critical PLM solution. The environment combines PTC Windchill with CAD and ERP integrations, where system functionality, workflows, and business processes all need to work together reliably. You will work across technical and business stakeholders, guide User Acceptance Testing, and make sure the solution is validated before release. This role is a strong match if you enjoy combining hands-on testing with leadership in a complex engineering environment.

• You will define the test strategy, test plans, schedules, and entry and exit criteria for the solution.
• You will lead end-to-end testing across implementations, upgrades, and enhancements in PTC Windchill.
• You will coordinate system, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• You will work across Windchill modules such as PDMLink, MPMLink, and ProjectLink, as well as integrations with CAD and ERP systems.
• You will review business and technical requirements and turn them into clear test coverage, test scenarios, and test data.
• You will drive defect management, including triage, prioritisation, root-cause analysis, and retesting.
• You will guide business users during UAT, support signoff readiness, and communicate progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• You will contribute to quality best practices and continuous improvement throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Proven experience as a Test Lead or Senior Test Analyst.
• Hands-on experience testing PTC Windchill, including configuration, workflows, lifecycle states, and access control.
• Good understanding of PLM business processes such as Change Management, BOMs, and Document Management.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC, including Agile and/or Waterfall.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or HP ALM.
• Experience testing Windchill upgrades, migrations, or cloud deployments.
• Exposure to CAD/PLM integrations involving Inventor, Creo, or SAP.
• You communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders and are comfortable coordinating testing activities with minimal supervision.
• Fluent English and basic knowledge of Swedish.
• Ability to complete a pre-assignment drug test.

• Experience with legacy-to-cloud PLM transitions.
• Background in complex engineering or regulated environments.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
• Automation testing experience for PLM systems.
