We're continuing to strengthen our software and platform capabilities and are now looking for a Product Owner who wants to take a central role in evolving and modernising our Kubernetes platform services.

This is an opportunity to work close to both technology and business, owning a critical IT service used across the organisation while also shaping its future direction.

As Product Owner for our Kubernetes platforms, you will own and develop an existing IT service that provides Kubernetes-based capabilities to the business. The service is in active use today and plays an important role in enabling modern application delivery across multiple teams and domains.

You will be responsible for managing the full service lifecycle - from day-to-day prioritisation and stakeholder alignment to long-term evolution and modernisation. This includes the opportunity to establish a new, modern platform capability and lead the transition of customers from the existing service to the new solution.

In this role, you will work closely with operations and development teams, leading planning and prioritisation while balancing stability, improvement, and innovation. You will act as the main interface between stakeholders, architects, engineers, and leadership, ensuring that business needs, technical direction, and delivery capacity are aligned.

This role combines product ownership, service management, and team leadership in a highly collaborative and technically advanced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and continuously prioritise the backlog for the product to maximise value and time‑to‑value
• Manage and develop an existing IT service based on Kubernetes, ensuring stability, performance, and customer satisfaction
• Take responsibility for the full service lifecycle, including roadmap, improvements, lifecycle decisions, and decommissioning where applicable
• Drive the creation of a new, modern platform capability and lead the migration of customers from legacy services to the new solution
• Lead and plan the work of a team covering both operations and development
• Align stakeholders across business, architecture, and technology, balancing business priorities, technical direction, and team capacity
• Translate architectural guidelines and strategic direction into actionable plans, priorities, and deliveries
• Enable effective collaboration, clear ways of working, and conditions for a high‑performing team
• Ensure dependencies, risks, and expectations are transparent and managed proactively

We are looking for a Product Owner who brings structure, clarity, and engagement, and who is comfortable working at the intersection of business needs, technical platforms, and team delivery. You are confident in taking ownership, setting priorities, and guiding teams through both operational responsibility and change.

Required:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Service Owner, or similar role within platform, infrastructure, or IT service environments
• Experience working with Kubernetes-based platforms, container platforms, or similar infrastructure services
• Strong understanding of service lifecycle management and operational responsibility
• Experience leading planning and prioritisation for teams working with both operations and development
• Ability to engage and align stakeholders with different perspectives and expectations
• Good understanding of agile ways of working and product management principles
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred:

• Experience working in hybrid Kubernetes environments
• Background in platform engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps
• Experience driving modernisation or migration initiatives
• Understanding of security, compliance, and regulated environments
• Experience from large or complex organisations

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
