Senior Data Engineer SAP Analytics

You will join a product area focused on building analytical solutions on SAP data in a large-scale, high-volume environment. The role centers on getting the most out of a major SAP BW investment while helping stakeholders turn complex business needs into robust, scalable analytics solutions.

You will work across SAP BW and other SAP OLTP systems, while also using tools from Microsoft, Google, and related platforms to support broader analytical needs. This is a role for someone who enjoys both hands-on engineering and enabling others through coaching, collaboration, and clear technical direction. It is an especially interesting opportunity if you want to combine deep SAP analytics expertise with influence on Agile ways of working and engineering practices.

• You will design and develop analytical solutions on SAP data, primarily in SAP BW and BW/4HANA environments.
• You will work with high-volume data flows and help shape scalable, robust data platforms for analytics.
• You will deploy analytical features across SAP BW and other SAP OLTP systems based on stakeholder needs.
• You will model and integrate data using HANA modelling, CDS Views, and provisioning to and from SAP BW.
• You will contribute to frontend analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.
• You will support work related to Datasphere, data integration, and data volume management.
• You will collaborate closely with product leadership and engineers to align on priorities, delivery, and key results.
• You will lead programming sessions, present solution approaches, and help the team solve complex technical challenges.
• You will facilitate Scrum events and help the team strengthen Agile development practices in day-to-day work.
• You will coach colleagues and stakeholders in Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.

• Minimum of 10 years experience in SAP BW development.
• Experience from at least 3 full life cycle implementations on SAP BW or BW/4HANA with HANA modelling.
• Extensive experience from SAP BW Retail scenarios.
• Experience working with data sources such as General Ledger and Billing in SAP ECC, Inventory Management in SAP ECC, POS-data in SAP CAR, and warehouse transactions in SAP EWM.
• Experience with frontend analytics using SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.
• Experience with Datasphere.
• Experience with CDS Views based data modeling, data integration, and provisioning to and from SAP BW.
• Experience in Data Volume Management, preferably from projects with large data volumes.
• Experience in Integrated Planning/BPC.
• Strong ability to work in an Agile team setup and contribute across different kinds of tasks to meet sprint goals.
• Experience facilitating Scrum events and helping the team actively drive development.
• Fluent English.

• Several years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong abilities in modern engineering practices.
• Advanced knowledge in SAP data analytics.
• Scrum Master experience.
• Experience with different Agile frameworks and supporting tools.
• Swedish language skills.
