MS Power Platform Developer (Canvas App)

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced MS Power Platform Developer with strong expertise in Canvas Apps to design and develop workflow solutions using standard Power Platform technologies, including both Model-Driven Apps and Canvas Apps. The ideal consultant should possess solid hands-on experience in creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and delivering scalable business solutions within the Power Platform ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Power Platform solutions aligned with business and operational requirements.
• Build and customize workflow applications using both Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
• Configure, manage, and maintain Dataverse entities, security roles, business rules, and underlying data structures to support business functionality.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide ongoing support for existing Power Platform applications during business operations.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional development teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Participate in Agile delivery processes, including planning, execution, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, process guidelines, and work instructions with regular updates.
• Contribute to solution optimization and continuous enhancement initiatives using modern Power Platform capabilities, including AI Builder and Copilot functionalities.

Required Experience

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Power Platform development or related technologies.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with Normalized Data Models.
• At least 1 year of practical experience with Dataverse.
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing Model-Driven Apps and Canvas Apps.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate and/or Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience in C#/.NET Framework plug-in development.
• Exposure to AI Builder and Copilot-related technologies is considered an advantage.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks such as Kanban and SAFe.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
