Senior UX Designer

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced UX Designer to join a cross-functional development team within a mission-critical IT environment focused on resource planning systems. The system plays an important role in operational processes and is currently undergoing extensive development with multiple parallel initiatives and enhancement projects.

The consultant will work closely with developers, system specialists, product stakeholders, and operations teams throughout the full product development lifecycle. The role involves both strategic and hands-on UX responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on delivering intuitive, user-friendly, and efficient digital experiences across multiple platforms and usage environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, user studies, and needs assessments to identify usability improvements and business requirements.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UX design concepts for various platforms and digital interfaces.
• Plan, organize, and execute usability testing activities and analyze user feedback to improve design solutions.
• Work iteratively with continuous enhancements based on user insights, testing outcomes, and stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate closely with developers, operations teams, and system specialists to ensure a consistent and effective user experience.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, demos, workshops, sprint activities, and collaborative design discussions.
• Support the entire UX process from requirements gathering and user story mapping to implementation and evaluation.
• Contribute to strategic UX initiatives while also supporting operational design activities in ongoing development projects.
• Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and collaborative activities when required.
• Ensure that user-centered design principles are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of documented professional experience in UX design across various platforms such as desktop, mobile, tablet, or vehicle-related interfaces.
• Proven experience managing the complete UX lifecycle, including requirements gathering, prototyping, usability testing, and feedback handling.
• Hands-on experience working with user stories and user story mapping methodologies.
• Experience working within agile development environments and agile methodologies.
• Strong capability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Languages

• Swedish – Fluent (spoken and written)
• English – Professional proficiency

Job Mode: Hybrid (Minimum 3 Days Onsite per Week)
