O2C Business Architect ERP

Job Description

The client is currently undertaking a large-scale ERP transformation initiative, where the Order-to-Cash (O2C) domain plays a critical role within the Sales & Marketing function. To strengthen the Business Architecture capability within the program, the client is seeking an experienced SAP Business Architect with deep expertise in O2C and O2D processes.

The selected consultant will collaborate closely with program stakeholders, business leaders, implementation teams, and integration partners to ensure alignment between business objectives, process governance, and enterprise architecture standards. The role requires a strategic yet pragmatic professional capable of driving process consistency, operational efficiency, and scalable ERP solutions across global business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary representative for O2C and O2D process areas from both business process and architectural perspectives within the ERP transformation program.
• Ensure that business goals, enterprise standards, and target architecture principles are consistently aligned throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Work closely with the implementation project manager to support delivery progress through practical and solution-oriented decision-making.
• Guide and support Business Process Owners (BPOs) in defining, documenting, standardizing, and governing global business processes and templates.
• Coordinate and facilitate O2C-related change management activities, including the evaluation and handling of process change requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional program streams and external service integration teams to maintain seamless end-to-end process integration.
• Assess potential business impacts during process harmonization efforts and communicate implications effectively to stakeholders.
• Promote scalable, efficient, and industry-aligned ERP process designs while supporting organizational transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Order-to-Delivery (O2D) business processes.
• Proven experience participating in multiple full-cycle ERP implementation projects.
• In-depth understanding of sales operations, order management, delivery workflows, and invoicing processes.
• Extensive background in Business Architecture within large-scale and global business environments.
• Practical and results-oriented mindset with the ability to drive execution effectively.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience with process documentation methodologies and process management tools.
• Solid understanding of change management practices within enterprise transformation programs.

Experience Required

Expert Level – Extensive experience in ERP transformation programs and multiple end-to-end ERP implementations.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field is preferred.

Language Requirement

Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory.
