Embedded Software Developer Wireless & Robotics to ALTEN in Gothenburg

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to be part of developing next-generation robotic solutions with focus on connectivity, autonomy, and smart behavior.

In this role, you will join a highly skilled development team working with advanced embedded systems for robotic products. You will contribute to everything from low-level drivers to intelligent software functions, with a strong focus on wireless communication technologies such as Bluetooth, WiFi, GNSS, radio, and cellular connectivity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing embedded software in C/C++ and Python
• Working with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, WiFi, GNSS, radio, and cellular modems
• Designing and implementing new technical solutions together with the development team
• Participating in architecture discussions and technical problem-solving
• Supporting sprint planning and coordination in Jira
• Collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders in an agile environment

We are looking for you who have (must have):

• Strong experience in embedded software development
• Good knowledge of C/C++ and Python
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Experience with wireless and connectivity technologies:
• Bluetooth
• WiFi
• GNSS
• Cellular modems
• Radio communication
• Experience working in agile teams and sprint planning tools such as Jira
• Good communication skills in English

It would be a great plus if you have:

• Swedish language skills are considered a big plus
• Experience from robotics, autonomous systems, or connected products
• Previous experience in a technical lead or team lead role
• Interest in modern embedded architectures and connectivity solutions
• Experience working close to hardware and electronics
