AI Engineer

You will help strengthen a Databricks-based data platform with AI capabilities in a complex industrial environment. This is an end-to-end role where you work across the full ML lifecycle, from data and feature work to model design, deployment, and monitoring. You will also help balance technical choices with cost, operations, and business value. • You will build, deploy, and maintain production AI/ML solutions.
• You will work across the full AI chain, from data and features to models, deployment, and monitoring.
• You will design and operate AI functions in Azure and Databricks.
• You will develop solutions using RAG architecture, embeddings, prompt engineering, and system prompts.
• You will shape agent-based solutions, including tools, routing, memory, and connections between agents.
• You will evaluate model choices such as GPT and open models, with a clear focus on cost and performance trade-offs.
• You will contribute to architecture decisions across RAG, fine-tuning, and agent-based approaches.
• You will help ensure that development, deployment, and runtime cost are aligned with business value.

• At least 5 years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining production AI/ML solutions
• Ability to contribute to all parts of an AI solution
• Experience with Azure AI stack, such as Azure AI Services and Microsoft Foundry
• Strong Python skills
• Proficiency in ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLlib, and Scikit-Learn
• Hands-on experience designing and operating functions in Azure and Databricks
• Experience with RAG architecture, embeddings, prompt engineering, and system prompts
• Experience with agent design, including tools, routing, and memory
• Experience in model selection and cost/performance trade-offs
• Understanding of AI architecture choices such as RAG, fine-tuning, and agents
• Experience with chunking
• Experience with copilots
• Experience connecting different agents

• Experience with RAG systems
• Experience with agentic systems and RPA
• Experience with PySpark or Apache Spark
• Experience with event-driven systems or streaming data
• Experience mentoring junior ML and data engineers
