Senior Full Stack Developer (Frontend-Focused)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus to join a strategic initiative focused on building a next-generation e-commerce platform within the telecommunications industry.

This role is a key contributor within a cross-functional product development team and is ideal for a technically accomplished professional who combines hands-on development expertise with a collaborative approach to engineering excellence. While the position is not a formal leadership role, the successful candidate will naturally mentor team members, contribute to technical decision-making, and help drive overall team performance.

The client is actively embracing AI-assisted software development practices throughout the development lifecycle. As such, experience utilizing modern AI development tools, including GitHub Copilot and emerging practices such as Spec-Driven Development, will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and continuously enhance modern frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between frontend applications and API-driven services.
• Participate in architectural discussions, technical planning sessions, and solution design activities.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, scalability, maintainability, and application performance.
• Review code contributions, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of fellow developers.
• Contribute to the evolution of engineering standards, development methodologies, and delivery processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across frontend and integration layers.
• Work closely with product owners, designers, architects, and developers to deliver business-critical digital solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance software quality.
• Support the adoption of modern development practices, including automation, continuous integration, and specification-driven workflows.
• Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the development team.

Required Experience

• Several years of experience developing complex, large-scale, data-intensive web applications.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade frontend solutions within modern JavaScript ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience working in full-stack environments with API-driven architectures.
• Experience building and supporting e-commerce solutions within the telecommunications sector.
• Strong track record of working within agile and cross-functional software development teams.
• Experience conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and promoting engineering best practices.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
