Assignment Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join a large retail and digital platform organization, working within an established team responsible for the development and governance of a strategic enterprise design system.

What You Will Work On

• Develop, maintain, and evolve enterprise design system components
• Create and manage design tokens, typography systems, spacing frameworks, and reusable design patterns
• Support the consolidation of multiple design systems into a unified platform
• Define design architecture, naming conventions, token structures, and governance principles
• Ensure the design system supports complex internal business applications and platforms
• Collaborate closely with developers to bridge design and implementation
• Improve design-development workflows through modern tooling and best practices
• Utilize AI-powered tools as part of daily design and product development activities
• Establish and maintain versioning strategies for design assets and components
• Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and governance frameworks
• Support product teams adopting and contributing to the design system
• Drive continuous improvements in scalability, usability, and consistency across digital products

What You Bring

• Several years of experience building and maintaining design systems used across multiple teams or organizations
• Advanced expertise in Figma component architecture and design system management
• Strong experience with Variables, Modes, Properties, Slots, and Auto Layout
• Deep understanding of design tokens, theming strategies, semantic layers, and design architecture
• Strong technical understanding and ability to collaborate effectively with developers
• Experience discussing implementation details and technical implications of design decisions
• Proven experience using AI-powered tools within design and product development workflows
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance strategic design decisions with practical implementation needs
• Fluent Swedish and professional communication skills
• Availability for hybrid work with regular presence in the Stockholm area
