Junior Software Engineer at Sellpy

Sellpy's catalogue holds 10 million one-of-a-kind items — and our systems must handle every single one in real-time. As a Junior Software Engineer, you'll step into a place where your code ships to production early, your ideas are heard from day one, and the problems you solve have genuine environmental impact.

In short, you will

• Build and ship features across the full stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services.
• Work with JavaScript, React/React Native and Node.js.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features — from design through deployment.
• Grow rapidly with the support of experienced teammates and direct feedback loops.
• Contribute to keeping Sellpy's architecture clean, maintainable and scalable.
• Bring fresh perspectives that push our engineering culture forward.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Graduating in summer 2026, or 2027.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript or another modern programming language.
• Genuine curiosity, drive to learn, and an action-oriented attitude.

We’d be impressed if you have

• Familiarity with React, Node.js, or similar modern frameworks.
• Experience from side projects, internships, or open source contributions.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control with Git.
• A passion for the circular economy or sustainable tech.

Location

On-site collaboration at our core, supported by a flexible hybrid setup on set days. This role is based at our Medborgarplatsen office.

Form of employment: Full-time, permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.
