As a Test Engineer, you'll support the development of future battery technologies by planning, coordinating, and following up on battery cell durability testing. Working closely with internal laboratories, external partners, and suppliers, you'll ensure that valuable test data is collected, analyzed, and transformed into meaningful engineering insights.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing battery performance using tools such as Python, MATLAB, or Excel, supporting the development of test methods and validation strategies, and contributing to vehicle development projects. You'll collaborate with specialists in battery cell design, CAE, integration, and validation, giving you broad exposure to the complete battery development process—from early concepts to production-ready solutions.

You'll also contribute to continuous improvements in testing methods, data analysis, and engineering processes while developing your expertise in battery ageing, durability, and lifecycle prediction.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience, within Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Hands-on experience in testing, laboratory work, measurements, or validation of technical products or systems.

• A genuine interest in lithium-ion battery technology, data analysis, and automotive electrification.

• Experience working with Python, MATLAB, Excel, or similar data analysis tools.

• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.

• The ability to communicate technical findings clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in cross-functional teams.

• Experience with battery cell testing or durability testing.

• Knowledge of electrochemistry, battery degradation, ageing mechanisms, or cell design.

• Experience with battery test equipment, data acquisition, or supplier test data.

• Previous experience within the automotive industry or electrification projects.

• Experience with battery lifecycle analysis or validation.
