Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation in accordance with defense industry standards and requirements.
• Work with XML-based editors, preferably Arbortext, to produce structured and consistent technical content.
• Apply Simplified Technical English (STE) to ensure clarity, accuracy, and standardization across all documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technical specialists to collect and verify technical information.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation processes, templates, and guidelines.
• Participate in documentation reviews and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Travel to client or project sites a few days per week to gather data and support documentation activities.

What you bring:

• A few years of proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within the defense or industrial sector.
• Strong skills in working with XML-based authoring tools, ideally Arbortext.
• Excellent command of Simplified Technical English (STE) and understanding of structured documentation principles.
• Solid ability to interpret and translate complex technical data into clear, user-oriented documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented work approach.
• Fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken, with good English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel several days per week as part of the assignment.
• Based in Stockholm or Gothenburg.
• Ability to undergo and obtain security clearance
