About the Role
Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to contribute to the development of modern, scalable and high-performance web applications.
You will work in a collaborative engineering environment, building and maintaining frontend applications, developing reusable UI components and improving application performance and user experience.
The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of a next-generation digital ecosystem focused on condition monitoring, working closely with developers and cross-functional product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain modern frontend applications using TypeScript and Svelte.
- Build reusable widgets, UI components and scalable frontend solutions.
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces that work seamlessly across different screen sizes and devices.
- Monitor, measure and continuously optimize frontend application performance.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.
- Write, maintain and execute automated frontend tests, including Playwright tests.
- Make sound technical decisions considering overall product architecture, usability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with backend developers and other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and frontend architecture decisions.
- Share technical knowledge and support other developers within the team.
- Explore and apply AI-powered development tools, including GitHub Copilot and reusable AI workflows.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and engineering processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Significant professional experience in frontend application development.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript.
- Hands-on development experience with Svelte.
- Experience building reusable UI components, widgets and frontend modules.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience developing responsive web applications.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization, profiling and troubleshooting.
- Experience with automated testing and maintaining test suites using Playwright.
- Practical understanding of Kubernetes and containerized applications, including services running as pods.
- Ability to make independent technical decisions and understand wider product requirements.
- Good understanding of Git and collaborative software development practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English is mandatory.
