Infrastructure Engineer Batch

• To succeed as a Mainframe Batch Infrastructure Engineer, you need a strong technical foundation combined with a structured and dependable way of working and Technical skills and experience:
• Solid experience with IBM z/OS in a batch‑processing environment
• Strong knowledge of JCL, batch scheduling, and workload management
• Understanding of mainframe storage, datasets, and file handling
• Familiarity with incident handling, root‑cause analysis, and production support
• Basic scripting skills are an advantage
• A structured approach to troubleshooting and documentation
• Able to work closely with application teams, operations, and infrastructure specialists
• Clear communication skills — able to explain technical issues in simple terms
• Comfortable taking ownership and driving issues to resolution
• A proactive mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
