IT Business Analyst (with temporary Scrum Master responsibilities)
About the role
Our client is seeking a seasoned IT Business Analyst to support upcoming initiatives and act as the primary bridge between the business and IT.
Responsibilities
- Capture, organize and analyze requirements to make sure they are clear, complete and achievable
- Convert business needs into practical input that IT teams can act on
- Describe technical possibilities and constraints in terms business stakeholders can easily follow
- Facilitate workshops with relevant stakeholders
- Document current and target states, and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Suggest solutions that improve business processes and system support
- Collaborate closely with development teams, project managers, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure solutions fit both business and technical needs
- Contribute to prioritization, planning, follow-up and stakeholder communication across the delivery process
- For a limited period, take on the Scrum Master role: foster agile ways of working, clear obstacles for the team, strengthen collaboration and self-organization, and lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
Required skills and experience
- Relevant university education or comparable professional experience
- Demonstrated experience as an IT Business Analyst or in another requirements-focused role
- Hands-on experience with requirements management, process mapping and workshop facilitation
- Experience working side by side with software development teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile facilitation role
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
Meritorious skills
- Deep understanding of Scrum and agile methods
- Background in manufacturing, production or shopfloor-related IT environments
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with the MES layer of the ISA-95 automation pyramid
- Skill in presenting complex information in a clear, practical way
- Experience documenting AS-IS and TO-BE states and supporting process improvement
Scope
Initially 50%, with the option to increase to 100% during 2028
