IT Technician, Telephony Services for Fujitsu via Barona
Barona is currently recruiting, in partnership with Fujitsu, an IT Technician within Telephony Services for an assignment supporting one of Europe's leading energy companies, operating in electricity and district heating generation, distribution, and sales.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in telephony or VoIP solutions who enjoys working in a coordinating and service-oriented function. You will be responsible for managing requests, changes and administration related to telephony services, while acting as a key point of contact between end users, the Service Desk and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage requests and changes related to fixed-line telephony and VoIP services
- Coordinate service requests and change activities
- Track, document and follow up on activities in accordance with established processes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external telecommunications providers
- Ensure that requests are handled and delivered according to agreed procedures
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
- Experience with IP telephony, VoIP or other telephony solutions
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and change management processes
- Strong administrative and coordination skills
- Experience working in an international IT environment is considered an advantage
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
Assignment Details
- Client: Fujitsu
- Employment Type: Consultant employed by Barona
- Location: Remote, with travel to Amsterdam once per quarter
- Workload: Full-time (100%)
- Start Date: 4 January 2027
- Assignment Duration: Until 30 June 2027, with the possibility of extension
- Remote Work: Available
