Want to turn complex aerospace needs into clear, verifiable requirements? As an experienced Requirements Engineer in Jönköping, you will support technically demanding customer projects.
You will work with requirements throughout the development lifecycle, from understanding customer and system needs to supporting implementation, verification, and validation. The role requires both attention to detail and the ability to see how individual requirements contribute to the complete system.
Depending on the assignment, your responsibilities may include:
- gathering, analyzing, and documenting system and software requirements
- refining high-level needs into clear, consistent, and verifiable requirements
- maintaining traceability between requirements, design, implementation, and testing
- reviewing requirements for completeness, feasibility, and compliance
- managing changes and identifying dependencies or conflicts
- collaborating with customers, systems engineers, developers, testers, and other technical specialists
As an experienced engineer, you will also contribute to the structure and quality of the requirements process. You can explain technical tradeoffs, ask the questions needed to clarify uncertainty, and help different disciplines reach a shared understanding.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:- professional experience in requirements engineering or systems engineering
- experience working with requirements in the aerospace industry
- the ability to formulate precise, testable, and traceable requirements
- an understanding of verification, validation, and structured development processes
- strong communication skills in English
- citizenship in a NATO member country
Knowledge of DO-178 is valuable. Swedish language skills are also considered an advantage.
