We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our distributed engineering team and play a key role in building the payment solutions of the future. You will work on our .NET microservices backend — primarily hosted in Azure, with Corniche as our API-driven core banking system at its heart — collaborating with engineers across Borås, Stockholm, Gdansk, Málaga, and the Czech Republic. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will contribute to technical direction, share knowledge across the team, and help shape our platform and engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of microservices and their architecture using .NET Core
- Drive cloud-based solution design, ensuring robust, scalable, and reliable services on Azure Cloud Native
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Pipelines
- Optimize systems and applications for high performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Implement and improve logging and observability using OpenTelemetry
- Share knowledge and support developers of varying seniority, contributing to technical and architectural discussions
- Collaborate across distributed teams and ensure alignment on technical strategy and best practices
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and Azure
- Proven experience with transaction-intensive systems and agile development processes
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design
- A collaborative, team-first mindset with a passion for engineering quality
- Fluent in English and Swedish
- Experience in e-commerce, payments, or finance is a plus, as well as familiarity with systems like Corniche or Mambu
