About the Role
Norvion Systems AB is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join an experienced team developing and operating business-critical connected-vehicle services in Gothenburg for a consultant assignment. In this role, you will work across the complete service lifecycle—from design and backend development to deployment, monitoring, production support, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development & Modernization: Design and develop scalable backend services using Java, Go, and Python, while supporting legacy-system modernization and database integrations.
- Cloud Architecture & Serverless: Build, deploy, and maintain serverless solutions and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- CI/CD & DevOps Operations: Implement and maintain robust DevOps practices and CI/CD automation pipelines for continuous service delivery.
- Observability & Security: Manage observability, system monitoring, and vulnerability management to ensure software quality and resilience.
- Production Ownership & On-Call: Take end-to-end production ownership, including mandatory on-call rotation responsibilities to ensure service reliability.
- Stakeholder & Integration Support: Collaborate directly with stakeholders, customers, and OEMs to provide technical integration support.
Requirements
- Software Engineering Experience: Senior-level experience across backend development, API integrations, and cloud platforms.
- Core Technologies: Strong proficiency in Java, Go, and Python, paired with hands-on experience in AWS and serverless architecture.
- DevOps & Security Capabilities: Proven track record in CI/CD, observability, monitoring toolchains, and vulnerability management.
- Production & On-Call Availability: Experience with full production ownership and willingness to participate in mandatory on-call duties.
- Location & Onsite Presence: Ability to work onsite in Gothenburg (3–4 days/week during onboarding, transitioning to 2–3 days/week).
- Languages: Professional fluency in English (both written and verbal).
