Assignment Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Solution Architect
What You Will Work On
- Define and design architecture for applications, services and APIs
- Drive the evolution of Developer Portal and Partner Service solutions
- Lead technical planning, development, deployment and maintenance
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Full-stack Developers
- Perform hands-on development and code reviews
- Design scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Work with microservices and event-driven architectures
- Design infrastructure, integration, security and software architecture
- Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS
- Work with AWS Serverless
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and AWS SAM
- Develop full-stack solutions using Node.js and TypeScript
- Work with GraphQL
- Contribute to Java Spring Boot development
- Design and maintain reusable components and technical patterns
- Ensure integration between backend and frontend systems
- Establish coding standards, testing strategies and best practices
- Drive performance, scalability, security and reliability improvements
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks
- Contribute to technical roadmaps and architecture decisions
- Create technical documentation and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects on strategic direction
What You Bring
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering / architecture
- University degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with distributed systems
- Strong full-stack development expertise
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong experience with GraphQL
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud and Serverless
- Experience with event-driven and microservice architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and AWS SAM
- Experience with Java Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, integration, security and software architecture
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Strong experience designing scalable and maintainable solutions
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring developers
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing and DevOps practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Valid Swedish work permit if not an EU citizen
