Senior Backend Software Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance systems. You will work with modern backend technologies, cloud platforms, microservices, and event-driven architectures in an Agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable backend services and APIs
- Build scalable microservices using Java, Go, or Kotlin
- Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Improve system performance, availability, and security
- Deploy and operate containerized applications in cloud environments
- Contribute to architecture, code reviews, testing, and technical decisions
- Support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production systems
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Several years of professional backend development experience
- Strong experience with Java, Go, or Kotlin
- Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or another cloud platform
- Understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, and Git
- Good communication skills and experience working in Agile teams
Advantageous Skills
- Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies
- PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
- Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitOps
- gRPC, GraphQL, OAuth, or JWT
- Experience with payment systems, banking, or other high-availability environments
